Our goal as a company is to give every goalie the best chance possible to reach their full potential on and off the ice.

We dedicate our entire lives to this company and to the goaltenders we get to work with. We have been doing things differently from day one, and our methods are unlike anything you have ever seen before.

We believe that goaltenders need to be elite skaters.

The game of hockey is getting faster and more skilled by the day. It is very hard to save a puck that you can’t get into position for.

Goaltenders need to establish 3 things early on in their development.

SKATING

TRACKING

BATTLING

Once these 3 things are established, it is much easier to coach and work on the finer details like crease management, angles, post play, reads, and dealing with traffic. We have seen way too much over complication within kids, which results in them leaving the ice more confused than when they arrived.

In under 2 years we have seen results that have never been accomplished before in such a short period of time, and we are continually adapting and evolving.

Every day is a chance to get better, ourselves included.

  • OWNER/COACH

“I grew up playing minor hockey in Saskatoon, SK. I was one of the top kids in the province my whole minor hockey career, and realize now how much of a curse that was. I never had to prove myself or compete for a job because there was nobody that could take it from me.

I went on to play 2 years of midget AAA hockey before moving on to the Western Hockey League, being the first goalie from SK to be drafted into the WHL. I ended up playing 4 years in the WHL, and during my time there I played with many players who now play in the NHL. I got to see how much work it takes first hand to get there. But for some reason, it never kicked in for me until after I was done playing and started coaching.

During my final year in the WHL, I sustained an injury that made me lose all my passion and drive for the game of hockey. Every time I thought of playing, I was miserable because I was dealing with hip pain every day. I decided to play through it for a year at the University Of Saskatchewan and got to experience what playing through a serious injury does to a person physically but also mentally. I decided enough was enough and had 2 major surgeries. It was then I decided to step away from playing and turn my life into coaching and mentoring.

I have now been coaching for 5 years and have dedicated my whole life to this position and pride myself in being one of the best movement specialists in Canada.  Since I’ve become a coach, my number one goal has always been to get kids to understand the life habits they need to play at an elite level.

The lessons I have been trying to teach are from my own mistakes and experiences I’ve had throughout my life. Not only does it help with on ice performance, but will also help with their mental health and life after hockey.

I strive every day to become the best version of myself as my goals are to get to pro hockey, except this time it looks a little different.”

  • COACH

“Born and raised in Regina, SK, Brad’s been a goalie his entire life and has always been obsessed with the position.

Brad had opportunities to pursue junior hockey, but he decided to stay home and work. He is one of the most caring and hardworking people I have ever met in my entire life.

He started working for Increase in March 2021 and since then, he has flourished within his role within the company. He has been coaching for goalies full time for 3 years and has turned into one of the best coaches in the entire province.

His passion for improving as a coach and his relentlessness to make any goalie that steps on the ice better is something unmatched. Brad is strides ahead of where I was at his age, and I cannot wait to see what he accomplishes as a coach over the next years to come.”
